Revitalizing & Moisturizing Face Packs For Winters

Winters are coming and we all know that how much our skin becomes rough and dry during this time. That’s why our skin needs some extra moisturization for the radiant glow. Today I am going to discuss easy to make & moisturizing face packs to replenish lost moisture into your skin. Without further ado, let’s get started.

Gram flour and Milk cream

Gram flour acts as a very mild exfoliant which gently removes dead skin from our skin. When mixed with milk cream, this home-made face pack moisturizes our skin pretty well.

  • Mix 1 spoonful of gram flour (Besan) with 1/2 spoon of milk cream.
  • Add a pinch of turmeric and 2 spoons of rose water to it.
  • Turmeric helps in brightening and giving an even skin tone. Rose water also provides us with clear glowing skin.
  • Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth paste-like consistency.
  • Apply it all over your face and neck. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Use gentle circular motions to remove it from your face.

Banana and Honey

Banana and honey, both are specialized in giving adequate moisturization and even tone to your skin.

  • Mash half a banana to make a paste-like consistency. This much amount is adequate for your full face and neck.
  • When properly mashed, minute particles of banana also acts as a gentle exfoliant.
  • Add 1/2 spoon of honey and raw milk to it and mix it very well.
  • Apply it to your face and neck and let it sit for a good 20 minutes before washing.

Rice flour and Raw milk

Rice flour is the best anti-aging ingredient for our skin. When mixed with raw milk, it provides instant hydration to dry, flaky skin.

  • Take out 1 spoonful of rice flour in a bowl and add 2 spoons of raw milk to it.
  • You can also add half a spoon of honey to it for extra hydration.
  • Make paste-like consistency by mixing it very well.
  • After application, leave this face pack on your face for 15-20 minutes before washing it off.

Olive oil and Honey

Olive oil is good for treating fine lines on our face and gives the proper hydration that our skin needs.

  • For this face pack, take equal proportions of olive oil and honey in a bowl.
  • Even after mixing, I know this pack is too runny for the application. That’s why you need to apply it onto your skin with a cotton ball.
  • You can also make a paste-like consistency by adding a spoonful of wheat flour/ gram flour into it.
  • Leave it on your skin to dry for at least 15-20 minutes before washing.

Coconut milk and Corn Flour

Coconut milk with corn flour is a super-hydrating face mask for your dull and dreary winter skin.

  • To make this face pack, Take out 1 spoon of corn flour in a bowl.
  • Add 2 spoonful of coconut milk to it and mix it well.
  • Apply it on your full face and neck and leave it around 15 minutes.
  • While washing, use gentle circular motions to take it off.

Quick Tip

Make sure to apply these moisturizing face packs 2 times a week for the radiant glow.

One thing you need to keep in mind that you should use these ingredients at least a month to see their effectiveness. The consistency of your face mask should not be much thick or much flowy.

Essential Oils

Essential oils have miraculous properties to beautify our skin. Every essential oil is meant for a different purpose and for a different type of skin. You need to have full knowledge about these essential oils before applying them on your face.

Rose water

Rose water is the natural and best toner for our skin. It controls excess sebum secretion, cleanses dirt from clogged pores, gives clear complexion, slows down the aging of skin and also maintains ph balance of the skin.


Honey is full of antioxidants, that is why it helps in keeping our skin healthy, moisturized and young. It also helps in giving even skin tone, does mild exfoliation of the face and treats acne.

Green tea

Green tea is packed with antibacterial and antioxidants that is why it helps in fighting acne, excess oil secretion and keeping our skin young. It also helps in soothing puffy eyes, treating under-eye dark circles and toning our skin.


Yogurt is a great moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin and it is full of antioxidants. It is also beneficial in giving relief from sunburns and giving clear complexion.

Raw milk

Raw milk acts as a great moisturizer for all skin types. It also lightens skin tone, cleanses face, removes tan, treats acne and adds radiance to our skin.


Cucumber is beneficial in fading undereye circles, toning, soothing puffy eyes, rejuvenating skin, controlling excess oil secretion and treating blemishes.


Tomatoes are helpful in shrinking large pores, giving you blemish free skin, restoring natural glow of skin, healing acne, preventing aging signs and removing dead skin cells.


Potato treats dark circles, wrinkles, facial blemishes, sunburns very effectively. It is also helpful in lightening skin tone and soothes puffy eyes.


Turmeric is a miracle product for our face and body. Turmeric is very good in controlling excess oil secretion, treating blemishes and wrinkles, fighting age signs and removing stretch marks.

Lemon juice

Lemon acts as a bleaching agent, lightens skin tone, removes blemishes and dark spots, treats acne and removes blackheads.

Coconut water

You can use coconut water for moisturizing your skin, boosting collagen, reducing pigmentation, cleansing & toning of the face and also for removing sun tan.

Coconut milk

Coconut milk is rich in vitamin A and vitamin C. Vitamin A is helpful in preventing age signs and vitamin C is good in treating UV damage. This is the reason we use coconut milk for treating age signs and sunburns.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a good moisturizer for dry, flaky and sensitive skin. You can use coconut oil to fade under eye circles, treat blemishes, control age signs, prevent dark spots and remove scars from your face.

Almond oil

Almond oil is a rich source of vitamin E. Almond oil is helpful in giving you glowing skin, reducing dark circles, slows down aging process, treats Psoriasis and Eczema, faces away undereye circles and wrinkles, and a great moisturizer for all skin types.

Olive oil

Olive oil is also rich in vitamin E. Olive oil is beneficial in rejuvenating skin cells, moisturizing dry and sensitive skin, reducing under-eye dark circles, prevents premature aging, reduces stretch marks, treats pigmentation and blemishes. If you have oily skin, you can lessen the amount of olive oil on your face. Using oil on the face does not mean that your sebaceous glands will secrete more oil. Though it will slow down the natural process of oil secretion for sometime.
